"I like talking about nothing. It's the only thing I know anything about."

-Oscar Wilde

I've been pretty busy with school lately, so that's why this blog has kinda been in a coma. But I'm here now.
Stop crying.

So here's what's new:
Lately I've discovered that if you put a little vanilla extract in your coffee, it completely rocks your morning. I've really been in love with coffee lately...It's kind of all I think about. It's what gets me up in the morning.

I cant wait for cold weather. I'm really glad it's September 2nd.

I love my job.

I took a quiz yesterday that I saw on SparkNotes. It was, "What hipster instrument should you play?" (something like that.) And guess what I got???

 UKULELE!

I already PLAY the uke!

Is that good? Am I a hipster? Am I cool? Qualified? DISqualified??

At work today, I saw a little harmonica hanging there on the shelf. I saw the price and I was super tempted to buy it. I'm going to one of these days. I am I tell you.

I painted my nails a color called "Beach Party" today.

I also just had a facebook conversation with my Fruzzin. ;) (we made up that word. friend/cousin. get it??) We talked about my "future husband" according to HER. (Am I allowed to blog about stuff like that?)
Well he doesnt know it's him, so it's cool I guess...

Today, Liv and I talked on the phone, and I told her I was reading about the Dalai Lama. She said,
"I met him once." I said, "No you didnt." She said, "Yes I did. He came to my school in 2nd grade." I said, "Liar." But actually and honestly, after I said that, I was starting to believe her. 2nd grade? Pretty believable, right? No? Just me?? Then she said, "He shook my hand and said, "Young lady, you have very pretty eyes." I said to myslef, Is this true? She DOES have pretty eyes... And then she said, "And I said, thank you Mr. Lama."
Then I knew it was a big tale.
We laughed.
She's a dork.
But I'm a moron for almost believing her.

Usually, I never remember my dreams the morning after they take place in my head. But lately, I've been remembering them! It's kind of exciting. To me. But they're kind of dumb. Hopefully they'll get better soon.

Tonight I ate dinner by myself at a table outside of Starbucks next to two very sporty, classy foreign men drinking Izzy's. Then my dear friends Jordan & Kelsey showed up and took me home. It was a very pleasant surprise. :)

Tomorrow, if the Lord has it in His will to wake me up in the morning, (I get tired of saying "Lord-willing" all the time) I'm going to PacSun. Hopefully I'll buy something cool...But you know me...

A red-headed model man came into the store tonight.

Also, I started to teach a little girl the "F is for Friends" song from Spongebob on the uke until her mom got there to pick her up. She was really into it. (Her violin lesson was cancelled tonight, but she didnt know that, so she was stranded at Music & Arts for half an hour. So I tried to entertain her. Though she didnt really need me. She was QUITE the little ball of energy. Bouncing about the store, sprinkling her charm on people...She was fun.:)

So I guess that's all. For now.

Have a wonderful night and remember...

"A man's character may be learned from the adjectives which he habitually uses in conversation."

-Mark Twain
